Office / Data Entry Position - Apply Here
The roles of the Office / Data Entry Employee:

  • Supplying customer service and handling of their paperwork.
  • Office procedures such as filing, driver check-in, bill of lading creation and handling, etc.
  • Call answering and appointment setting.
  • Coordination between office, warehouse and drivers.
  • Help with certain cleaning tasks when orders are at a slower pace to allow it.
  • Assist management in providing tasks drivers and lift operators if needed.

Scheduling:

  • Part-time / Full-time positioning.
  • Overtime opportunities covering vacations and weekends.
  • Multiple customer environment can lead to more chances for increasing hours.

Forklift Operator - Apply Here

The typical shift of FWC Lift Operators:

  • Loading and unloading semi trailers either as an individual or at times in a teamwork needed situation.
  • Completing shipping and receiving manifests as needed by the customer or FWC offices.
  • Ability to fill in at moments notice on overtime requests a plus.
  • Possible rework, physical handling of product.
  • Equipment pre-trip inspection and reporting.
  • Housekeeping / food grade compliance.

Scheduling:

Findlay Warehousing operates under a 24/7 customer availability.  While we do have Monday through Friday shifts available, we do offer opportunities at times to our rotational employees.  Depending upon our current needs, these positions may or may not be offered at the time of an interview.

As with all employees of FWC, prime candidates for forklift operator positions show upfront dependability and the desire for growing within the company.  A comprehension of tasks given by management or assigned lead personnel for that particular FWC location, position or duty at hand is a plus.

The typical shift of FWC Utility Employee:

  • Working on cleaning tasks that are scheduled for that particular week.
  • Work on light maintenance tasks that are scheduled for that particular week.
  • Other cleaning or maintenance tasks that are scheduled by management.
  • Working on grounds keeping jobs as needed: mowing, weed eating, snow removal, etc.
  • Possible helping with rework projects, and physical handling of product.

    Scheduling:

    3 different shifts depending on availability.

    • Monday – Friday 6:30am to 3pm
    • Monday – Friday 8am to 430pm
    • Monday – Friday 3pm to 1130pm

    Class A CDL Driver - Apply Here

    The typical shift of FWC CDL Drivers:

    • Daily pre-trip inspection and reporting on all equipment utilized.
    • Maintaining a good driving record in both personal and commercial vehicles.
    • Pickup and delivery of customer products at various locations around Ohio.
    • Completing any required manifests as needed by the DOT, our customers and the offices of FWC.
    • Ability to maintain forklift operator availability as an employee of FWC.
    • Working alone or helping with loading and unloading trailers at an of our locations if needed.
    • Ability to fill in at moments notice on overtime requests a plus.
    • Possible rework, physical handling of product.
    • Housekeeping / food grade compliance.

    Scheduling:

    Shift Supervisor - Apply Here

    The primary job responsibilities of the Shift Supervisor:

    • Oversees towmotor warehousemen, CDL drivers, office employees, and hybrids.
    • Dispatch CDL drivers.
    • Delegate tasks to warehousemen.
    • Deal with day to day tasks.
    • Ensure safety and food safety regulations are being followed by all employees.
    • To work in the office handling customer paperwork and customer service as needed.
    • Perform any task or job needed out in the warehouse that we normally require our towmotor warehousemen to perform as part of their job description.
    • Ensure housekeeping and other maintenance programs are being completed on the shift.
    • Handle accidents, injuries, mistakes, or customer complaints that may happen during the shift.

    Secondary job responsibilities:

    • Help office employees when they need help.
    • Help load and unload trailers when needed.

    Working hours:

    • 2:45pm to 11:30pm Monday through Friday.
    • 11:30pm to 6:30am Monday through Friday requires being reachable by phone in case the warehouse needs a supervisor’s assistance.
    • More hours may need worked depending on workload.
    • On call supervisor position needs covered on assigned weekends where supervisor will need to be in a position to answer phone calls concerning issues at the warehouse over the weekend. Supervisor will be expected to call into the warehouse at least twice a day to ensure everything is running fine.
